We’ve gone to almost every Cross-Cultural Service Sunday ever since we knew First Evangelical Free put one on! We’re so thankful for this time of year, it’s the perfect opportunity for us in Kansas to keep connected with what our Father is doing around the world.
What we didn’t know was that this year our Father would provide an opportunity for us to personally connect with a couple serving in ReachGlobal‘s Justice Initiatives, in Asia! A couple we could potentially film, and here they were, in our hometown!
We met the wife Saturday morning, just before she shared a wealth of knowledge and compassion on the issue of human trafficking. As we shared of our “Asia Media Producer” position with ReachGlobal, and how excited we were to connect with her here, her face lit up, and she gathered us into a group hug, exclaiming how grateful she was for us. Then she asked us to excuse her power point presentation. We clearly need some help in media, she laughed.
Sunday morning our hearts were edified as the husband shared a challenging and refreshing message, “Living Noteworthy Lives for Him.”
That evening we enjoyed delicious food and fellowship with new friends, then took off for an exciting trip around the world, which was around the church’s basement 🙂
Let’s just say, “He is good” rang in my heart all weekend!
Until all the earth knows, Sarah Lynn
